Moms’ Night Out stars: Sarah Drew, Sean Astin, Patricia Heaton. This movie is about hardworking mom Allyson has a crazy night out with her friends, while their husbands watch the kids. What seemed like it should be a fun night out for the  girls-quickly goes chaotic, and staying with the kids was not as easy as the dads thought.

Elements of Trust Science-themed

Vacation Bible School

The Fonda Reformed Church will hold its annual Vacation Bible School from July 10th – 14th this summer!  The program will begin at 9:00 am and end at 11:30 am.  All children ages 3 through 12 (6th grade) are invited to attend this fun-filled week that will include games, snacks, science experiments, songs, stories, and a lot of fun.

 This year’s Vacation Bible School theme is Elements of TRUST, a science-themed trip through the book of Acts. There are lots of high-interest activities for the kids.  
Helpers are needed, young, and old, for a couple days or the whole week.  Volunteers, ages 13 and up, can gain community service hours for school credit.  If you would be willing to help, please email Deb Silvernail at dsilvernail@ffcsd.org, Ruthie Cook at rd.sj.cook@gmail.com, or leave your contact information with the church’s administrative assistant, at 518 853-3621.

 

The program will be held July 10th – 14th.  

There will be a planning meeting on April 24th at 6:30 pm at the church.

Containers are available from the kitchen staff if you would like to share some home-cooking with someone who could use a little cheer.
